The Provident Bank Marking New Branch Opening in Doylestown With Community Celebration

The Provident Bank has announced the relocation of its Doylestown branch to 573 North Main St. (across from Doylestown Shopping Center) and will celebrate with a grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 17.

“The Provident Bank is committed to ensuring successful economic development, and to supporting those who live and work here in Bucks County,” said Sherri Kerr, Provident’s VP/Market Manager. “This grand opening celebration is a gesture to the residents of Doylestown that we are truly a part of this community. We opted to celebrate with a ribbon-‘tying’ ceremony to symbolize our commitment to Doylestown and to our family of current and future customers.”

The new Doylestown branch is the latest in the Bank’s commitment to Bucks County. Earlier this year, Provident Bank served as the title sponsor for the 2016 Bucks 5K Series, and the Bank has also participated in various community fundraisers and literacy programs.

The public is invited to visit The Provident Bank Doylestown and to attend its grand opening celebration on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ribbon-tying with Doylestown mayor Ron Strouse; Provident executives Chris Martin, Chairman, President & CEO, Sherri Kerr, VP & Market Manager, and Klyda Hutchins, Regional Manager; and Central Bucks Regional Police Chief James Donnelly will take place promptly at 10 a.m. followed by several check presentations to local responders including Central Bucks EMS and Doylestown Fire Co. No. 1.

Additional grand opening activities throughout the day will include face painting and balloon twisting, performances from the Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company’s cast of “The Sound of Music”, and magic by Joe Keppel. American Idol alum and Doylestown native Justin Guarini will be signing autographs and posing for photos with fans from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Live broadcasts by 94.5 PST will be happening throughout the day, and attendees are encouraged to participate in games and sweepstakes for the chances to win cash and prizes such as a 60” flat screen TV. Shuttle service is being provided from the Doylestown Main Street Inn (625 North Main St.) from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

The Provident Bank will be offering incentives for first-time customers when they open new accounts:

  • $75 cash bonus
  • New BBQ Tool Set
  • Oversized Sherpa blanket
