This page provides important information about the transition of your digital banking services.

Please refer to the information mailed in late August regarding your first-time login instructions.
Get the Mobile App!
Take your banking on the go with the Provident Mobile Banking app. Download our free app from your device’s app store, to easily and securely manage your banking tasks from your phone or tablet.
Beginning September 3, you may log in with the same credentials you use for ProvidentConnect Online Banking.
Important Things to Know and Do
ProvidentConnect Online Banking
You can manage your new Provident accounts online beginning Tuesday, September 3. Please visit provident.bank/digital-banking for helpful demos of our online capabilities.
Starting Tuesday, September 3, re-establish the following services within ProvidentConnect Online Banking as they did not convert automatically:
- Custom alerts (e.g., overdraft, fraud, mortgage, transfer notifications, and others)
- Internal and external transfers
- Paperless eStatement preferences
- Quicken®
- Zelle®
- External accounts
- Debit card controls
- Bill Pay eBills
Other changes to note:
- Business and dormant* accounts will not be viewable in personal online and mobile banking.
- You will no longer have the ability to categorize or rename transactions.
- If you use Credit Sense, offered by SavvyMoney, this service is no longer available.
*If any of your accounts have not had activity for more than three years, you may not see the account transferred as it would be deemed dormant. To activate a dormant account, please contact your branch or the Customer Care Center.
Online Bill Pay
All of the following information transferred automatically to ProvidentConnect Online Banking with no action required on your part unless notified otherwise:
- Payee names, account numbers, and addresses
- Account numbers will be truncated to 25 characters
- Bill payment history (will be available Monday, September 9)
- Future-dated and recurring payments you have scheduled
Important Notes About Online Bill Pay:
- With ProvidentConnect Bill Pay, the funds for your electronic payments will be deducted from your account when the bill payment is sent. The maximum transaction amount is $9,999.99; the maximum for cumulative transactions is $19,999.99 per Business Day.
- Bill payment history for canceled payments and for payments sent to payees that you have since deleted did not transfer to your ProvidentConnect Bill Pay history.
- On the new system, you must have sufficient funds available in your account upon the initiation of a bill payment. If a bill payment is made and the funds are not available, the payment will be canceled, and an email will be sent alerting you of a failed transaction.
- Bill Pay payments scheduled between Friday, August 30 and Friday, September 6 are not accessible but will be processed. To make changes to those payments please contact our Customer Care Center.
- Within ProvidentConnect Online Banking, the account you used most frequently for Bill Pay at Lakeland Bank was designated as your default payment account for Bill Pay at Provident Bank. On or after September 3, if you would like to schedule a Bill Pay payment from a different account, you may select a different account while scheduling your payment. If you would like to change your default Bill Pay account, select "Manage Funding Account(s)" within ProvidentConnect Bill Pay or contact our Customer Care Center.
Mobile Banking
Start by downloading our free Provident Bank mobile app from your device’s app store. On or after Tuesday, September 3:
- Sign on with the same credentials you establish online at Provident.
- View your account information on your mobile device with no action required.
- Re-enroll for Zelle® to send, request, and receive money instantly.
- Continue to enjoy the convenience of mobile deposits.
- Gain the ability to view eStatements, and update your contact information right from your mobile device.
eStatements
- 18 months of historical eStatements were transferred but may not be immediately available.
- You must re-enroll in eStatements in order to view historical eStatements and receive eStatements going forward. (You will receive paper statements until you enroll with Provident.)
- Provident does not support eDelivery of CD notices (only paper).
- Check images are available on historical eStatements but not available in Account History.

Account Access
The accounts you can access in ProvidentConnect Online Banking may differ from those available in Lakeland Bank Online Banking, depending on your accounts’ status, type, and relationship.
External Transfers
Maximum Amount: $5,000 per transaction, $10,000 daily, $100,000 monthly.
Mobile Check Deposit
Maximum Amount: $5,000 daily, no monthly limit
- Funds do not become available until the first business day following the business day that your check was approved for processing.
Zelle®
Maximum Amount: $1,500 daily, no monthly limit
- Recurring and future-dated payments are not available
- Any pending payments as of August 30, 2024, at 9:00 AM ET were canceled; payments can be re-established once you enroll in Zelle® within ProvidentConnect Mobile Banking
- Only available in Mobile Banking
- No longer able to view approaching daily limits
Quicken®
On or after September 3, 2024, please follow the connectivity for Quicken instructions linked below, which will help ensure a smooth transition of your data.
