Provident Bank Named Title Sponsor For the 21st Annual Bucks 5K Series

The Provident Bank will be the title sponsor of the 21st annual 2016 Bucks 5K Series which features seven races throughout the central Bucks County region from March through June.

The Bucks 5K Series, a 501 c (3) non-profit organization, benefits worthy causes that provide wholesome family activities, and improve the physical fitness of the community. Since its inception, the Series has raised more than $1.24 million for its non-profit organizations.

We are constantly investing in the growth and opportunities in each of our markets. We believe in volunteering, making an impact and leaving the world a little bit better than we found it.”

In addition, Provident Bank will also be hosting a raffle at each race to win an Apple iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB. The final drawing will take place at the grand opening of Provident Bank’s newest branch in Doylestown, Pa. on Saturday, June 11.

Plumsteadville Blaze of Glory 5K

9:30 a.m.

Proceeds to benefit the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company.

Saturday, April 3

BCCR Break-Fast

9:30 a.m.

Proceeds to benefit the Mercer Museum.

Saturday, April 23

Cornerstone 5K

9:30 a.m.

Proceeds to benefit the Bridge Fund of Doylestown Health’s Cancer Institute.

Saturday, May 7

Y Run CBYFMCA 5K

5:30 p.m.

Proceeds to benefit Central Bucks Family YMCA.

Saturday, May 14

Run, Walk, Roll (Sertoma/IU) 5K

9:30 a.m.

Proceeds will be divided between the Bucks County Intermediate Unit Education Foundation and Central Bucks Sertoma.

Saturday, May 28

Doylestown 5K

9:30 a.m.

Proceeds to benefit Discover Doylestown.

Saturday, June 4

Chalfont Challenge

9:30 a.m.

Proceeds to benefit Chalfont’s Park and Trail Development Program.
