ISELIN, NEW JERSEY (January 9, 2019): Provident Bank, a leading New Jersey-based financial institution has announced that Gregory Lockwood of Oceanport, N.J., has joined the bank as a Vice President, Relationship Manager with the bank’s Business Banking team. He will be based in the bank’s Iselin, N.J. office and will be responsible for originating, evaluating, and structuring commercial loans. In addition, Lockwood will manage a portfolio of business customers based in central N.J. He will also work closely with accountants, attorneys, and intermediaries to source new business.

His strong business development and client management skills, extensive knowledge of the central New Jersey market, and his ability to understand the credit needs of businesses will greatly enhance our efforts to grow Provident’s commercial loan portfolio,” said Mark Gueci, Senior Vice President, Business Banking Team Leader.
Prior to joining Provident, Lockwood was a Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager with M&T Bank, Iselin, NJ, where he was a lead contributor on a start-up Business Banking team tasked with producing a new commercial portfolio of clients in central N.J. In addition, Lockwood has held similar positions with Santander Bank and The Bank of New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, N.J.
